About the Role
The Role
The Business Support Group and Bids Team is dedicated to provide centralized support to Christie's Specialist Departments through the coordination of a variety of administrative activities. This role is to provide the Business with the adequate level of support needed on a day to day basis and, especially, in buys sale periods.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Business Support
- Support Specialist Department Administrators/Cataloguer/Business Coordinator with a variety of administrative tasks.
- Provide support to Specialist departments with the creation of Seller Agreements and Stock orders by accurately capturing and processing the relevant information on JDE etc.
- Liaise with and follow up with Specialist departments and other internal departments for business processes including Property movement, Inventory and PO and charges creation etc. to ensure all record have been setup on system properly.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
- Bids
- Managing all bids received through all channels
- Follow correct procedures for Anti-Money Laundering, Credit Control for Client. Liaising with respective teams responsible for this
- Registration of bids into Christie's IT systems
- Proficient in Christie's Live registration and procedures
- Prepared to carry out these duties at offsite sales
The Candidate
- BA/BS and/or 2-3 years of working experience in Administration and/or Client service preferred
- Ability to work well as a team and promote team effectiveness
- Ability to problem solve and proactively follow up to ensure issue resolution
- High degree of organization with ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow up promptly
- Willingness to accept assignments with positive attitude
- Desire to learn and take on new challenges
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
- Flexible working hours when required, including evening and weekend sale coverage
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Outlook and ability to learn all Christie's systems.
- Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
Salary Range
HKD20,000 to 21,000 per month
