Authentication Associate
Job Details
Authenticate luxury fashion items using specialist tools and expertise while managing returns at Vestitaire Collective's warehouse in a Monday-Friday afternoon shift (1:15pm-8:30pm). Drive continuous improvement of authentication processes, maintain quality standards, and develop deep product knowledge across handbags, jewelry, and watches through structured training programs.

Position: Associate - Authentication (Afternoon Shift)
Working Arrangements
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:15 PM to 8:30 PM (including a 30-minute break)
- Training: Complete onboarding with an initial intensive training period on our cutting-edge methods
What You Will Do
Authentication & Expertise
Examine, analyze and verify the authenticity of luxury products by developing specialized expertise and using dedicated tools (UV light, magnifying glasses, etc.), returns management mission
Quality & Documentation
Ensure absolute compliance of products with their description and enrich/update documentation related to authentication.
Product Appetite & Evolution
Actively collaborate in optimizing our internal authentication tools. Be a driving force in proposing improvements to the software and features used daily (field feedback, user experience improvement).
Operational Performance
Monitor and maintain a high level of excellence against team objectives (respect for productivity flows, quality optimization and drastic reduction of evaluation errors).
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to the deployment of 5S methodology to optimize warehouse processes, workstation ergonomics and safety.
Continuous Learning
Participate in rigorous training (Academy programs levels 1 and 2) to become an expert on target brands and categories (handbags, jewelry, watches).
Your Profile
Experience and Technical Skills
- Background: Prior experience in authentication, auction houses, museums or luxury retail is highly appreciated.
- Luxury Culture: Excellent knowledge of luxury fashion, the history of prestigious brands and their codes is essential.
- Product Sensitivity & Digital: Strong affinity for technological tools, business software and research databases. You enjoy understanding how tools work to help improve them.
