About the Opportunity
David Zwirner is seeking a motivated and personable Sales Intern to support the Sales Team in New York. This position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates to gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a leading contemporary art gallery. Ideal candidates will be organized, reliable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide administrative and project support to the Front Desk and larger Sales Team.
- Assist with exhibition-related tasks, including:
- Support gallery openings and events.
- Act as a gallery attendant, ensuring the security and presentation of artwork.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for the public, answering questions about current exhibitions and the gallery's programming.
- Support the shipping, receiving, and distribution of mail and packages for the Tribeca location.
- Prepare materials for client viewings and assist with client book mailings as requested.
- Maintain and update internal resource documents.
- Routinely restock supplies, including staff kitchens.
- Ensure the pristine appearance of workstations.

Position Details
- Internship runs from September 8th - December 18th, 2026.
- Tuesday-Saturday 10AM – 6PM with additional hours for occasional evening events, and switches to part time (3.5 days a week or less) from December 8th to the 18th.
- A commitment of 3 months is required to ensure that our interns have a well-rounded and educational experience.
- All interns are paid NYC minimum wage of $17/hour.
- All candidates must be residents of NY, NJ, or CT.
- No lodging or commuting expenses will be provided.
