Description
As a (Senior) Legal Counsel (m/f/d), you support the Legal Team and ensure smooth operations in the department. You actively contribute to new projects and develop new processes. You are not only the first point of contact for our employees, but also advise our management in trustful sparring on all legal matters. The position is limited to two years due to parental leave cover. An extension of the fixed-term employment relationship may be possible – depending on operational conditions. You can perform the position either fully remote or hybrid in Karlsruhe.
What You Can Look Forward To
- You support the team in advising the company in the areas of compliance, legal & data protection.
- You are the first point of contact for employees and management in the company on legal matters.
- You take into account current developments in case law and legislation and develop appropriate solutions for our company's requirements.
- Your areas of responsibility also include contract negotiations as well as collaboration with and management of external advisors, such as law firms and authorities.
- You support all teams at Chrono24 – from new business models to ongoing project implementation – and ensure legal protection from the start.
- You report to the Head of Legal.
What Sets You Apart
- You have completed two law degrees (German state examinations) or equivalent qualifications.
- You have several years of experience as a generalist-oriented corporate lawyer and have in-depth knowledge of corporate and IT law.
- Ideally, you bring experience from a technology or e-commerce company.
- A healthy risk awareness and high social competence characterize you.
- With your strong communication skills and sympathetic demeanor, you know how to convince and have the ambition to always perform your work with high precision.
- You bring experience in using AI tools in the legal field and have already built structures, skills, or workflows for productive AI use in a legal department.
- Teamwork, organizational thinking, and independent action are among your strengths.
- You manage to explain complex matters simply and concisely and have very good English language skills.
